Within 48 hours of an assessment visit. Every quote is written and fixed — no hourly rates, no additions once work starts. What you are quoted is what you pay.

Never more than two weeks out. Easy booking, no back-and-forth. If you have an urgent issue, get in touch and we will do our best to prioritise.

Yes, and this is a core part of what we do. We provide between-tenancy refreshes, end-of-tenancy repairs, routine maintenance, and ongoing retainer arrangements for landlords and letting agents managing portfolios across Halifax and Nova Scotia. Contact Tom to discuss your requirements.

Yes. Every job gets a written fixed-price quote before work begins. No hourly rates, no surprises on the invoice. If the scope changes during the job, we discuss it with you before proceeding — never after.

Yes. Every completed job is backed by a 12-month workmanship guarantee. If something is not right, it gets made right.

Yes. Highland Property Maintenance is fully insured for all work carried out.

In most cases, yes. Tom can source materials as part of the job, or you are welcome to supply them yourself. Either way, materials are specified in the quote upfront.

Yes. Where a job requires a licensed plumber, electrician, or HVAC contractor, Tom coordinates the right trade, manages the work, and keeps you updated throughout. You deal with one person, not three.

Yes. Many clients — particularly landlords — provide a list of jobs to complete in one visit. This is efficient and cost-effective. Send the list in advance and Tom will quote for the full scope.
